Description
Revive your Ford Super Duty with the DFC Diesel Remanufactured 6.0 Short Block Crate Engine (20MM Dowels). DFC engines are machined using Rottler equipment to ensure this engine's tolerances are more precise than OEM specifications. During the remanufacturing process DFC makes crucial upgrades to your short block to help maintain durability and reliability. DFC engine builders expertly remanufacture each engine to meet the most stringent guidelines. This short block includes all new internal components, oil pan, and a complete gasket kit for installation.
Engine Remanufacturing
During
the build, DFC focuses on eliminating risky failing components such as
the main caps with an added bead of silicone to eliminate leaking. The
DFC short block is machined with near identical weight and piston and
connecting rod assemblies. DFC installs reinforced internals that help
you get a smoother running engine that makes less noise and feels more
balanced. DFC short blocks include new pistons, rings, bearings and
rods.

This engine is manufactured in an ISO 9001:2015 Certified Quality Management System facility to meet strict international quality standards, ensuring that every engine is built for reliability and long service life.

New Engine Checklist (Replacement Items, Sold Separately):
Oil Cooler - highly recommended and mandatory if your past engine had a bearing failure.
Injectors - highly recommended especially on higher mileage engines or engines with contaminated fuel.
Turbocharger - recommended if mileage over 125K miles, mandatory if shaft play is present, or if engine was dusted.
Water Pump - highly recommended if engine has over 125K miles.
Evans
Waterless Coolant - recommended upgrade to prevent corrosion, boilover,
and all-around a better cooling system performance.
Application Note:
The
specific brand of each component may change due to part availability at
the time of each build. Parts are chosen at the discretion of DFC and
cannot be specially requested. DFC uses only the best components sourced
from multiple brands during the remanufacturing process.
