Description

Upgrade the water pump in your 2004.5-2007 Ford 6.0L Powerstroke (Built After 9/23/03} with the Diesel Site WP0560B Water Pump With Billet Impeller (100mm) from XDP. Diesel Site started looking at many of the common concerns with the original 6.0L water pumps, such as the consistent failures of the plastic impeller and inadequate coolant flow when designing this billet impeller. To overcome these issues while still maintaining an economical solution, they took the same technology used to produce the Wicked Wheel 2 Billet turbo compressor wheels. This design not only increases the strength but also addresses the heating issues while still retaining an affordable price compared to a complete billet pump setup.

Looks great but the fins on the impeller are awful thin. I cannot see how that they will last very long since they are so thin. I purchased this one because of the billet impeller and as thin as they are I am not sure that the plastic ones would last longer. If the aluminum is an alloy, they might last longer but just plain aluminum does not have a good wear rating especially since it is not anodized. A person might be better off to pay the extra hundred dollars and get the Bullet Proof version or buy a cheap one that I saw with the steel impeller.
