The Mag-Hytec AA 14-11.5 Differential Cover adds styling, function, and protection to the rear end of your GM 2500HD/3500HD or Dodge Ram 2500/3500. This heavy-duty differential cover makes it easy to do fluid changes with its built-in magnetic drain plug, oil dipstick to check fluid levels, and an o-ring gasket to provide a leak free seal. Built from aircraft grade aluminum, this differential cover features 303 stainless steel hardware and comes ready for installation on your truck. Requires allen key wrenches for installation and service.

Note: This is the correct cover for your 14 bolt - 11.5" differential, even though there are only 12 bolt holes. The top and bottom bolts have been removed for the drain plug and temperature sending unit hole.
Ram Application Notes*:
Fits Ram models with leaf spring suspension only. Will not fit late model trucks with factory coil springs or airbag suspension. If you have the coil spring rear suspension, please see the AA 14-11.5 CS Differential Cover below.

Received it in 2 days once received it was in very good condition came with all mounting hardware. Installed in less than 30min due to old stock diff cover being rusted out already have noticed the temps have dropped so this does help out a lot. Being able to service the rear end will be a breeze now there is a plug on the bottom of the cover so no more wasted money going into another gasket.

Total capacity 8 quarts, what is the actual gain over stock cover?
Your stock 11.5 differential takes about 4.5 qt’s. This Mag-Hytec AA 14-11.5 differential cover will take approximately 6 qt’s. to fill the bottom of axle tube (lower line on dipstick) and 7.5 - 8 qt’s. to the bottom of axle (top line on dipstick). Your oil level should be between these lines.
Where can I buy a replacement dipstick for this cover?

Will this diff cover allow me to keep my full-size spare tire without rubbing?
The Mag-Hytec AA 14-11.5 Differential Cover will not interfere with the factory spare tire. However, if a larger then stock spare tire is used, there may be some issues with fitment.
Can I use on my Sierra with spare in place. Foremost, I want a cover with a temp sensor. additional capacity if possible, but I want to keep my spare in factory location.
The Mag-Hytec AA 14-11.5 Differential Cover will work in conjunction with the factory spare tire.
