Replace the damaged or worn steering gear in your Ford F-250/350 or Ford Excursion 2WD (For Trucks With 32 Spline Sector Shaft) with the RedHead Steering Gears 2764 Steering Box (4-Bolt Cover). If you have a 36 spline sector shaft, use part # 2764BS.
This Gear Has The 4 Bolt Top Cover and 32 Spline sector.
Fits Ford F-250, F-350 and some 2wd Excursion's With 32 Spline Sectors.
The 1999-2000 F-250 and F-350 can have either a 32 or 36 Spline Sector.
The 1997 F-Series will either have a 2-Bolt Top Cover or a 4-Bolt Top Cover.
If your vehicle has the 2-Bolt style, you need to order the 1980-1997 Ford F-Series, part# 2757.

Finally got it installed last night, its a major upgrade from the stock box I had. Now just need to upgrade to a Borgeson steering shaft over OE and will basically have a new truck. Shipping was fast, truly appreciate XDP.

I purchased a redhead steering gear for my 99 F350 and wow what a difference. I have always heard how good they were but I didn't realize that they could make this much improvement. There is zero play in the steering wheel and I actually had to get used to driving the truck again because the steering was so tight that I was all over the road for a few miles. It drives like my Ford Explorer with rack and pinion steering now. Thanks to redhead and XDP for this solution. Order number 1346334
