The XDP HD High Output Alternator (New) Wrinkle Black XD351 improves the capability of the charging system in your 2007.5-2010 GM 6.6L Duramax LMM and also increases underhood aesthetics. The LMM Duramax is known as an easy to modify workhorse, but the charging system is often overlooked until it leaves you stranded! Common aftermarket add-ons like off-road lights, snow plows, stereo equipment, on-board air systems, and aftermarket horns, and other electronics will push the limits of your factory charging system.
The XDP Wrinkle Black HD Output Alternator increases the amperage output of your factory charging system so you can reliably and safely run all your electronic accessories while also decreasing strain on the electrical system in your truck. The XDP HD Series Alternator features an ultra-durable black wrinkle black coating for corrosion resistance and enhanced appearance. Each unit includes a card with pre-test results and is ready for installation utilizing your factory belt, mounting locations, and electrical connections.

The general rule of thumb when connecting the extra ground terminal wire to the to the XDP HD High Output Alternator (New) Wrinkle Black XD351 is same size or bigger then the power cable. It should be noted that the installation of the extra ground wire is optional and not required.
