Description
Replace the failing main radiator in your 2011-2016 Ford 6.7L Powerstroke with the XDP Xtra Cool Direct-Fit Replacement Main Radiator XD291. Made for a bolt-on installation, XDP's Xtra Cool Direct-Fit Radiators feature multiple upgrades for added strength over your OEM unit. Manufactured using special techniques from the HD and Semi industry, the Xtra Cool Radiators are built to a higher standard and provide you with added protection and reliability. The XD291 is the main radiator located on the engine side of the core support for your primary cooling system. The primary system cools your engine and engine oil cooler.
High Efficiency Core
XDP's Xtra Cool Radiators are built with High-Efficiency Cores. The upgraded core has more fins per inch with heavy-duty tubes to maximize cooling efficiency in your truck.
Internal Reinforcements
Built with special brazing techniques, the Xtra Cool Radiators feature internally reinforced end tubes and construction techniques to provide additional strength at the outside corners where the core is most vulnerable.
Special Gasket Design
To allow for expansion, contraction, and to handle the flex in the front end of your truck Xtra Cool Radiators are built with a proprietary rubber gasket to increase durability and eliminate failure points found in the OE design.
Revised End Tanks
Revised Tanks add strength to the Xtra Cool Radiator. Paying special attention to the weak points, reinforcement ribs have been added to increase durability. In addition, the plasitc mix used to manufacture the end tanks includes a fiber reinforcement to add strength.
Upgraded Mounting Points
To allow secure mounting in the factory location, and eliminate mounting point failures, the Xtra Cool Radiators integrated mounting points have been strengthened for durability.
Tank Attachment
Unlike the OEM design, Xtra Cool Radiator End Tanks are attached with a heavy gauge steel crimp strip. Instead of using aluminum like the factory, the heavy duty crimp eliminates tank and core separation failures that are common with the factory radiator.

Shipping was fast, part fit great, and looks good. I have not seen any lower temps but I do already have a reduced temp t-stat so there is that. Total time took about 4 hours to install.

OEM radiator started leaking on the lower driver's side. Seems to be a Ford super duty common issue. Did some research and chose the XDP as a replacement. Shipped with all hardware needed. Use OEM bolts, replace the OEM O-rings in the clip style radiator hoses. Fitment is excellent. Shipping was fast. Radiator was packaged well. Great company and great product! Replace HOSE O-RINGS!!!!! Thank you XDP.

My tank gasket started leaking in my 2011 F350 so I ordered this X-TRA cool radiator. I especially liked the steel clamp over the aluminum clamp to hopefully prevent the almost unavoidable tank to header leak in the future. This radiator was a perfect fit swap out.
