Description
The Pureflow AirDog II-5G A7SABF589 DF-165-5G Air/Fuel Separation System from XDP is the newest generation in fuel delivery systems for your 2011-2016 Ford 6.7L Powerstroke. The 5G is engineered to be the longest lasting, most efficient, and quietest lift pump system XDP has to offer.
The AirDog II-5G features a 4-bearing motor with an intermediate shaft that reduces pump noise and improves reliability. A dual feed design supplies fuel to both sides of the gerotor pump to decrease air bubbles and cavitation. The demand flow design allows the pump to only send the necessary amount of fuel to the engine.
The AirDog II-5G utilizes a diaphragm style fuel pressure regulator allowing the pump to be boost referenced and adjusted from 7-70 PSI The 5G system features larger 3/4-16 O-ring boss inlet and outlet ports. A 7/16-20 (-4) low-flow return is used to prevent aeration in the fuel being sent to back to the tank. XDP is a proud distributor of Pureflow Airdog Products.

AirDog 165 5g part # PTA7SABF589. I recently purchased this lift pump for my 2014 Ford F250. Product was shipped fast arrived early, it had everything needed for the install, instructions were a little tough to follow but Airdog has a step by step video you can watch. Overall great product easy install and I would highly recommend to anyone wanting to upgrade the fueling system on thier truck. Quick shout out to XDP, been purchasing truck parts from you for years, great company to do business with and much appreciate your support to veterans, thank you.

Good product and works well. Truck runs great. Only issue I had was they sent me the wrong size fuel return T. So I called Airdog and they sent out the right one. Good customer service and product, just had to have my truck sitting 4 more days while the correct part was sent.

We have had problems with the fuel systems on 2 of our 6.7 Powerstroke trucks. I decided I would install an aftermarket pump instead of replacing the factory pump. Installation was easy and painless on a 2016 F450. I like the fact that I've got a much better pump with far better volume than the factory pump. Thank you for your great instruction manual and video. Order number 1817709.
