Big Time Kustomz’s 8th Annual Dyno for Charity

We hit the road this past weekend and rolled into Skylands Stadium in Augusta, NJ for one of our first events of the year, the Big Time Kustomz 8th Annual Dyno for Charity. Let us just say, the trucks were loud, the people were excited, and even the weather was great.

As always, this event was more than just a truck show. It was about community, all in support of the Breathe for Michael Foundation, honoring the life of Michael Accetta. That spirit of purpose was in the air all day long.

If you’ve never been, this show is a little bit of everything lifted, lowered, daily drivers, show trucks, workhorses, and wild builds you just have to see in person. From the Show & Shine area to the Dyno competition, the energy was high and the horsepower was higher.

And yes, the dyno setup was back and better than ever. Two dynos ran all day, one for the heavy hitters, and one for the general class. Whether you were there to lay down big numbers or just see what your truck could do, it was a full-on crowd pleaser. There were cheers for the top HP at 2100+ and the lowest HP at 13  because hey, we’re all here for a good time.

Vendor Row was buzzing all day. From parts and apparel to local shops, it was the perfect spot to hang, browse, and talk trucks. We set up the XDP booth with our latest gear and new product releases. Nothing beats meeting the community face-to-face and hearing what people are working on or dreaming up for their trucks.

There’s something about seeing someone recognize our brand and walk over with a big smile, that connection is what makes being part of events like this so great.

Okay, so it was a little muddy from the rain the night before. But you know what? That didn’t stop anyone. The Show & Shine participants weren’t backing down, they were out there wiping, polishing, and re-polishing in true enthusiast fashion. The lineup had everything from big lifted diesels to slammed rigs that practically sat on the ground. No matter your style, there was something to admire.

Let’s not forget the monster truck show and RC car track, those were just as busy as Vendor Row. Kids (and more than a few grownups) lined up to take a wild spin in the monster truck, while the RC arena saw everything from wild crashes to skilled rock crawls. Whether you brought a built 2500 or a tricked-out Traxxas RC truck, this event was a great time.

As the day calmed down, it was clear this year’s Dyno for Charity was another win for the books. We got to spend time with fellow diesel fans, make new connections, and support a great cause in the process. Huge thanks to Big Time Kustomz for putting on another incredible show and to everyone who stopped by the booth, talked shop with us, or just came to hang out and support the cause.
