Description

The FASS STK-5500 Fuel Sump Kit is designed to be capable of functioning independently or in combination with our Fuel Air Separation System, drivers can now get the benefits that come with a sump but without any of the inherited issues.

Like most sumps on the market, the FASS Sump Kit can pull fuel from the outside of the sump through a pre-tapped 1/2" fuel port. However this brings the inherited issues that a line can catch and pull loose. To fix this issue FASS decided that they would also offer a way to pull fuel from the inside of the tank using a Bulkhead fitting and Suction Tube Kit, effectively eliminating this possibility.

Features:
  • Pulls Fuel From Top Or Bottom Of Tank
  • Billet Bulkhead Fitting
  • Eliminates 1/4 Tank Issues

Order #: 1141868 I purchased this to go along with my fass 165 pump for my 06 Cummins. I ran into a snag that could have been avoided if instructions were included in the shipment. There is a template when you print the instructions that shows you where to drill your hole for the sump. When I started installing it, I eyeballed the center and drilled a hole which caused the moon shape pieces not to fit inside the ridges in the tank. Had to get creative and grind the brackets down so you could bolt the sump in place. It was either that or buy a fuel tank to try again. Print the instructions since using a pdf file on your phone will cause you grief like it did me. Other than that, it works as it should
