Description
The PSC SP1404 High Performance Power Steering Pump is an upgrade for your 2001-2010 GM 6.6L Duramax. This pump is brand new, not remanufactured. The heart of the 1400 pump is a larger ring and rotor which displaces more fluid per revolution. This makes it the pump of choice for trucks that operate at low engine RPM's and have extensive steering modifications.

Have had weak brakes since I purchased my truck. The other day I completely lost all steering and brakes. Brakes are night and day difference, pump is quiet as a church mouse. Steering requires minimal effort and I can still steer at a light with my foot on the brake pedal! PSC High Flow is the ONLY option for your Duramax.

I have a 2002 2500hd lb7 wheels/20x12 w/305/50r20 with EBC rotors & yellow pads, 2011 hydro boost, and a 6 inch drop rear/4 inch drop front. The psc pump is the latest upgrade to my truck, and its a night and day difference. A few times coming to a hard slow down to a turn, or a hard stop coming off a short exit ramp the steering would get very hard and the braking would get really soft. (Abs braking would feel very weak). Thought I fixed the problem by changing fluids and bleeding throughly, along with upgraded lines; no fix. So I replaced it with this PSC pump and It’s worth every penny. Steering and braking is way more responsive, and solid and it works very well with all the other upgrades.
