This past weekend XDP headed to Indianapolis, Indiana for the 34th annual 4-Wheel Jamboree at the Indiana State Fairgrounds. The event was held over a course of 3 days from Friday to Sunday. Friday and Saturdays events were hampered by heavy morning storms that delayed the start by a couple hours. Both days ended up being sunny and warm after about 11am once the storms were done.

Dave Radzierez and the XDP Monster Truck was there to compete in the monster truck racing and freestyle events. Dave won his first round of racing on Friday beating Dan Runte and Bigfoot. Unfortunately, during the second round of racing he broke a driveshaft yoke on takeoff and was done for the night. Dave was able to work on the truck that night and get it put back together for Saturdays events. On Saturday, Dave competed in the first round of racing and freestyle without any issues. During Saturday nights freestyle event the XDP truck hit a jump and launched the truck about 15 feet in the air. When the truck came back down he busted off the left rear “champagne” which caused the wheel and planetary assembly to come off the truck. Thanks to some of Daves friends in the monster truck community they were able to replace the broken parts that night and were ready for Sundays events.

Join XDP next at the Texas Motorplex in Ennis, Texas for the NHRDA World Finals. The event takes places October 2nd and 3rd.
