On June 10th XDP headed to beautiful Morrison, CO for the annual Diesels on the Mountain event at Bandimere Speedway. This event has typically been a 2 day event in the past with sled pulls taking place on Friday night at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds instead of Bandimere Speedway. This year they were able to make it an all-in-one event with drag racing taking place during the day and sled pulls taking place at night, all at Bandimere.
The weather was unusually hot in Denver on Saturday, with highs around 92 degrees, no cloud cover, and almost no breeze. It did make for a nice, hot, sticky track though. No records were broken at Diesels on the Mountain, which is typical of Bandimere due too its elevevation and thinner air.
