On June 15th, 2019 XDP was proud to be the title sponsor of the 25th Annual Truck Mania held at Maryland International Raceway (MIR) in Mechanicsville, MD. The event enjoyed great weather Saturday and a large turnout for this family-friendly event. XDP Performance Specialists Dave and Jordan from New Jersey were on-site along with the XDP Racing Monster Truck Team. Gates opened at 11:00 am and qualifying races quickly got underway at 11:30 am. The staging lanes quickly filled with racers in both pickups, and big rigs to make some passes down the track.

In addition, to drag racing, there was also a show-n-shine, wheel standers, a monster truck car crushing show led by Dave Radzierez piloting the XDP Racing Diesel Powered Monster Truck, school bus races, big wheel races for the kids, and the daisy dukes contest. The school bus races are always a huge hit with the kids. They load the two buses full of riders and then the school buses race down the track. At 4:30 pm the monster trucks went out to put on a show and crush some cars. As 5:00 pm rolled around it was time for eliminations to start for the drag racing. This was followed by the big wheel races shortly afterward. Finally, the daisy dukes contest started around 6:45 pm and is always a crowd favorite to wrap up the event.
The 2019 XDP Truck Mania was an action-packed day as always. If you did not get to attend Truck Mania, those in the Eastern United States have another chance. Visit with XDP at the racetrack on June 21-22, 2019 as our friend Mike Graves and his team present The Hollyrock Customs Summer Diesel Showdown at Virginia Motorsports Park in North Dinwiddie, VA. This event is a two-day ODSS race and XDP looks forward to visiting with our many friends and supporters in the area.
