Round 4 of the NHRDA season sent XDP to Gateway Motorsports Park for the 1st annual Midwest Truckin’ Nationals in St. Louis MO. With heavy rains on Friday and rain forecasted for the event on Saturday we were nervous that the show might not happen. Thankfully the skies cleared up Friday night and was only partly cloudy on Saturday with a slight breeze. The crowd was on the small side compared to other NHRDA events, but being the first one held in St. Louis we expect to see a lot more join us in the coming years. Gateway Motorsports Park was a great venue with a good location and a cool view of the Gateway Arch in the background.
The big news from XDP is that our new race truck was on display at the XDP booth. The truck was not quite ready to compete so it did not race at the event, but drew a lot of attention at the booth thanks to its fresh XDP wrap. The truck is a regular cab 4×4 Dodge with a P-pumped 12 valve under the hood. Hopefully the truck will be ready to race in the coming weeks so we can see what it’s capable of. One thing is for sure, it will definitely look good going down the track!

Be sure to join XDP for Round 5 of the NHRDA season in Denver CO for ATS’ Diesels on the Mountain. This is a 2 day event taking place on Friday May 30th and Saturday May 31st. Sled pulls take place on May 30th at the Jefferson State Fairgrounds in Golden Colorado. Drag Racing, dyno runs, show n shine, and the burnout contest will be held at beautiful Bandimere Speedway in Morrison Colorado on May 31st.
