July 27th, 2018, Wall Township, NJ – Xtreme Diesel Performance, LLC. (XDP) launches the revamped XDP “Xtreme Diesel” Monster Truck with an all new look and powerplant. Staying true to the legendary Ram, “Xtreme Diesel” has a new 2017 Ram 2500 Laramie fiberglass body with an all-new 6.7L Diesel common rail deckplate engine that produces 1800hp+ on fuel only.
“Innovation is crucial! As a leader in the diesel industry it is our responsibility to push diesel motorsports to the next level and prove that we can be faster, more powerful, more reliable, and run cleaner than we ever have before. Running clean is extremely important, we’ve spent over a year building and tuning this new setup. We’re striving to get this diesel monster truck running so clean that it can be run at the indoor stadium events.” – said XDP’s Dave Radzierez (Driver of “Xtreme Diesel”).
Clean Diesel Technology
With the word “clean” coming up in every discussion at the roundtable during R&D of the new engine, Team XDP knew that the mechanically injected diesel engines that powered XDP’s Diesel Monster Trucks for the past decade just wouldn’t give them what they were after. The advanced technology of the new common rail engine, coupled with EFILive Tuning gives Team XDP the ability to fine-tune almost all engine parameters for the ultimate in engine control. As the team behind the wheel of the first diesel Monster Truck using a modern racing chassis, Team XDP knows no limits in the quest for innovation and advancement of diesel motorsports.
