Control Your Suspension with Firestone

We sat down with Firestone to discuss the Firestone Air Bag Helper Springs and Air Command Single Air Control System. Firestone gave us the information you need to feel comfortable upgrading the ride quality in your vehicle while towing.

Air Bag Helper Springs

The suspension on your vehicle can often lack the necessary stability required when hauling a heavy load. The Air Bag Helper Springs are the perfect add-on to return your vehicle back to factory ride height when towing. Air Bag Helper Springs typically mount between the frame and suspension of your truck. They are completely adjustable and can handle between 5,000-7,500 pounds of carrying capacity. These no-drill kits come complete with all the necessary hardware for installation. Once installed, these airbags will reduce suspension fatigue, tire wear, uneven brake wear, and more.

Air Command Control Systems

Although the Air Bag Helper Springs can be filled and controlled manually, Firestone has a solution to fill your airbags with a flip of a switch. The Air Command Control System allows you to adjust the air pressure for your air suspension products without having to use an external air source. The single gauge control is mounted in your vehicle for on-the-fly access when changing air pressure. Also included in the kit are air lines, compressor, and wiring harness.  These kits can be easily installed in conjunction with Firestone’s Air Bag Helper Springs, or with most other manufacturers’ air bag kits.

With these additions to your suspension system, your truck will get the load support it needs when towing boats, trailers, and medium to heavy loads. Learn more about and get your Firestone Air Bag and Air Spring Kits today at XDP.com
